In the winter of 2024, we premiered our original show, Madonnativity—a fun, family-friendly comedy set to the music of Michigan’s own Madonna.
The story follows a troupe of traveling actors determined to put on an inclusive holiday show, but with everything going hilariously off the rails—from missing sets to failed relationships—it takes nothing short of a miracle to keep the show alive. Through Mashup’s signature blend of pop culture references, audience participation, and a live band, Madonnativity explores the power of community and connection, even in the darkest times.
The show itself hit the road, with performances in Elk Rapids and Frankfort before wrapping up its final weekend in Traverse City.
