Queer Cabaret

It’s our BIRTHDAY this month – time to celebrate! Join us on Saturday, April 25th for some fun and games as well as a performance of some of the weirdest Mashup ideas we’ve ever had. Previous Queer Cabaret’s have been the testing ground for some of our most popular Mashups, including Look Who’s Talking Heads and Quack to the Future.

Just like our last Queer Cabaret we’ll make it exciting by auctioning off a chance for YOU to choose what song comes next in the line up. Plus our band has a few special things up their sleeves to share.

About the Venue

The MATCH

The MATCH is Mashup’s brand new venue, a small theatre space at the Cherryland Center. We are located on the north end, with our door facing EAST – across from the nail salon and right next to the old K-Mart doors.

Fall of 2026

It’s a hot summer on the not-so-well-known side of the street when Blanche moves in with her sister, Stella, and monster of a husband, Stanley. Hoping to stay immersed in her bath with her trusty Rubber Duckie, Blanche’s world of make believe is tested when Stanley’s suspicions begin to surface. You’ll be sweeping the clouds away with laughter from what promises to be one of the weirdest mashups to date. It’s a show about the intersection of imagination and truth, and yes, we actually plan to make Tennessee Williams family-friendly!
